World-class medical providers and facilities set the Turks and Caicos Islands apart from many other small country destinations. Our practitioners operate at the highest standards and hold a wealth of experience, most with training from leading institutions in the region, North America, Europe and the United Kingdom.
COVID-19 has changed the way care is accessed but has not compromised the quality of care provided in Turks and Caicos. A simple head cold or cough has new implications and may mean you have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus.
You will want to access care and reduce the risk of exposing others, including those in your group, other travelers, and those whose job it is to provide you a quality vacation experience.
Considering the risks of spreading the virus, we ask that if you become unwell, you return promptly to your accommodation and reach out for assistance. You will make a call to your Front Desk Agent, Concierge, Butler or Villa Manager who will arrange for you to speak with a medical doctor. This will happen either by phone or via Zoom.
After the initial interaction, equipment may be sent that will allow your temperature, heart rate, and oxygen saturation to be measured. The Doctor will then advise you on the next steps to be taken.
This may simply be a matter of medication being delivered to you from a local pharmacy, or the doctor may make a visit to the hotel or ask that you present at a clinic for further investigation and care.
Whatever is necessary, you can be assured the TCI SAFE™ program gives you access to world-class healthcare while enjoying your stay in Turks and Caicos.
Follow these simple steps to gain access to the high levels of medical care, ensuring your safety and the safety of others.
