The TCI Government changed its entry criteria and does not require anymore travellers to the Turks and Caicos Islands to produce a valid proof of a negative test from an accredited lab (children below 10y old exempt), within 72 hours from your arrival.
Nevertheless, even though it is not mandatory anymore, it is strongly reccomended that you do test before you'll travel, for your own peace of mind and in order to prevent issue at the time of your return.
The following COVID-19 test types are the most commonly accepted:
● RT-PCR, Nucleic Acid Amplification (NAA)NAA, RNA, or;
● Antigen test
LabDX offers an efficient solution for travellers seeking a COVID-19 RT-PCR test for entry into Turks and Caicos. Test kits are shipped overnight* to the traveller's home or office and will include instructions for collection, and a return shipping label, as well as everything else you’ll need to ship the specimens back to the laboratory.
In most cases, results are reported within 24 hours of the samples arriving at the lab. You will receive two text notifications from LabDx: the first when your samples arrive at the lab, and the second when your result is reported. You can view your final results directly on your phone, tablet or computer. Download the results and upload them in the TCI Assured mobile app, along with the certificate letter from a medical professional. Please note samples are not delivered on weekends and holidays.
